Tavo was born in Buenos Aires on November 1945. At the age of 7, Tavo won the 1st place in an International Children Paints Contest, in India. As he grew up, his interests took him to study architecture and photography. Always a lover of the arts in it´s different forms of expression, a grown up Tavo inclined himself to bird-watching; passion that later on developed him into a Bird Woodcarving Artist. Nowadays Tavo lives in Bariloche (Argentine Patagonia) and has become the most famous bird carver in Argentina. Using his self-developed method, Tavo has made birds for many worldwide bird lovers, including Bill Clinton and the Benetton Family.
